I thought I would share another of my passions on this site. You can check out my Needlework Gallery. These are some of my
favourite cross-stitch books. I'm sure you'll love them too!
Donna Kooler's Seasons in Cross-Stitch
This is a lovely book that features several larger patterns from the Kooler Design Studio. Includes snowmen, a carousel horse, lots of flowers, teddies and rabbits.
Donna Kooler's 555 Cross-Stitch Motifs
This is probaly my most favourite motif book. There are so many things to get one started on a personalized sampler - the people motifs are excellent!
Donna Kooler's 555 Cross-Stitch Designs for the Young at Heart
This is another good motif book to add to your library. It also comes with several samplers of motifs that can be stitched together. Pets, animals, baby, lots of borders and flowers are in this book as well as figures for different occupations.
Donna Kooler's 555 Fabulous Cross-Stitch Patterns
This is the book that made me a Donna Kooler fan :-) There is a gamut of patterns from flowers, seed packets, animals, alphabets...I would recommend this one above all for a beginning stitcher :-)
2001 Cross-Stitch Designs: The Essential Reference Book
This book has proved invaluable to me. Full color pictures of every design make it a great colour picker for my own designs. This bumper book includes
state flowers, birth months, alphabets, animals, teddies, baby and holidays motifs that can be stitched up quickly. Also includes project patterns.
Embroider a Garden by Diana Lampe
This delightful book shows you how to use various stitches to create flowers and leaves, and perhaps create a memory of a favourite garden :-)
The Best of Teresa Wentzler: Fantasy Collection
Although I have yet to complete a TW, I'm a huge fan and admirer :-) This is a great collection of her most popular and best loved fantasy patterns.
