YOUNG READERS - THOROUGHBRED SERIES

A delightful series about Ashleigh Griffen as a young child, when she lived
on her parent's breeding farm called Edgardale. With her best friend Mona,
adventure follows wherever Ashleigh rides. Some of the books are written
by Joanna Campbell, others are written by Chris Platt, author of Willow King.
In fact, I think the Chris Platt books are the best in the series.
Although the books have a few continuity problems from the regular series,
the plots are well thought out and not too predictable. However, there was
one book where all I could think was..."do they not lock the barn doors at
this farm???" :-)
