![]() all write-ups by Christine Othitis The little horse from the desert has left it's stamp on almost every breed that needed a bit of refining. Arabian crosses with Paints and Appaloosas hve produced some particularly beautiful horses. Spotting does not occur in purebred Arabians, so you won't get away with showing Tseminole Wind as a purebred pinto. Assorted names have been used to describes these crossings, such as App-Arabian and Pintabian. Quarab is used to describe QH-Arab crosses. Part-bred Arabians are also considerably less expensive to buy than a purebred. However, they tend to inherit the best aspects of both breeds and are by no means an inferior horse. |
